In order to permit the user to extract maximum benefit from the ALPS™ lightning location technology, TOA provides a broad range of analysis and display capabilities, which can be tailored to satisfy a broad range of needs.

MIDSNet™ Web-Based Display System
MIDSNet™ is an enhanced web-based lightning and weather display system for use with TOA Systems’ Lightning Detection Networks (LDN). Weather Decision Technologies, Inc. (WDT) of Norman, Oklahoma has developed the MIDSNet™ for TOA, based on an exclusive license from the University of Oklahoma.
The MIDSNet web-based display system can be customized to provide any number of map features, including terrain, roads, electric power lines, geopolitical boundaries, etc. Any point, line segment, or polygon can be displayed with the lightning data overlaid
In addition, TOA can provide such advanced WDT-developed capabilities as:

Predicted movement of lightning clusters, and

Where radar data are available, lightning threat prediction using WDT’s proprietary lightning prediction algorithm.

The forecasted movement (over 60 minutes) of storm location and intensity
